about the project
A conceptual refurbishment proposal for a flagship store in Via Montenapoleone, exploring a contemporary reinterpretation of Loro Piana’s spatial identity through material precision, light, and compositional balance.

The project investigates a refined retail environment defined by a soft and continuous architectural language, where surfaces, custom furniture, and lighting systems are conceived as a unified framework.
A neutral and tactile material palette enhances product perception, while the layout is structured to create a fluid and legible customer journey, balancing intimacy and openness.
Particular attention is given to modular display systems and focal elements, designed to elevate key product categories without overwhelming the space. The proposal aims to establish a scalable design approach, capable of adapting to different store configurations while maintaining a strong and recognizable identity.
Design is not about redefining identity, but about revealing it with greater clarity.
